Car parking and transport

We have free car parking right outside our base facilities at the bottom of the lifts. When the top car park is full, our friendly team will direct you into one of our overflow car parks, which are serviced regularly by a free ski shuttle service.

To find out about daily updates on the road conditions and car park availability, check out the Snow Report on our website.

Don’t want to worry about a full car park or the road conditions? The daily Mt Hutt bus service provided by Methven Travel departs from most major accommodation providers in Methven with a pick-up scheduled service to and from Mt Hutt Ski Area. Alternatively, Snowman Shuttles provide daily transport services between Christchurch and Methven if you’re coming from further afield.
