First Tracks Season Pass
Add a First Tracks Season Pass to your 3 Peak Pass or Mt Hutt Pass and carve the corduroy with a lucky few from 8-9am. Coronet Peak First Tracks is available on Coronet Express from 8am - 9am daily from late June / early July through to mid September. Mt Hutt operates First Tracks from 8-9am on weekends from late June to late in the season subject to conditions.
Pass Protection
It is your injury and medical cover, and provides for full or partial refund of your Season Pass where an injury, medical condition or pregnancy precludes or significantly limits the ability to use the pass.
FAQS
AGE DEFINITION
Age is as of 1st June in the season for which you have purchased.
5 yrs and under ski or ride for free at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt.
Child: 6 – 15yrs inclusive
Adult: 16 - 64 years
Student: 16+ years. Student ID will be required.
Senior: 65–74yrs of age. Photo ID will be required.
Super Senior: 75yrs of age or older, photo ID will be required.
All lift users require a MyPass card. Photographic ID may be required to collect.
Renewal Rate Eligibility
Guests that had a 2024 Season Pass that matches the below criteria are eligible for the renewal rate.
To trigger the renewal rate:
1. Log into your online account
2. Add the Season Pass to your cart
3. Assign the Season Pass to the appropriate guest that is eligible, the discounted rate will be applied just before proceeding to checkout. You will be able to see this in the final step of your cart before checking out.
Renewal Rate Eligibility:
- All 2024 3 Peak, Mt Hutt and Midweek pass holders are eligible for the 2025 Season Pass renewal rate.
- All 2024 Explorer pass holders are eligible for the 2025 Season Pass renewal rate.
- Intro to Snow guests that upgraded to a 2024 Season Pass are eligible for 2025 renewal rates.
- Under 5 FOC season passes are eligible for a child renewal rate if they are aged 6 on June 1st 2025, for the 2025 season.
- Full and Part-Time Winter seasonal staff are eligible for the renewal rate.
- Staff members Spouse & Dependent season pass holders in 2024 are eligible for 2025 renewal rates.
- Spring unlimited passes are excluded from renewal rates for the 2025 Winter season.
- Guests who held a 2024 local school season pass are eligible for a 2025 renewal rate.
- All 2024 industry season pass holders are eligible for a 2025 renewal rate (must purchase your 2025 pass before 1 November 2024 as renewal rates will not be offered after this time).
- Any guests who had their Season Pass refunded post the 10th of June 2024 are eligible for a 2025 renewal rate.
- All 2024 Peak Club members are eligible for a 2025 renewal rate.
Pass Protection

Details:
The Instalment Payment option for NZSki gives you the option to split your payment over an initial payment and then monthly instalments on set dates. By selecting to make payment by the NZSki instalment option, the customer hereby agrees to the below.
NZSki Limited (NZSki) retaining the customer's credit card details and automatically charging the customer's credit card across instalments.
Instalment plans are not interchangeable.

What if I default or miss a payment?
If any instalment payment is not made e.g. due to the credit card payment being declined or reversed or missed, NZSki reserves the right to charge a default administration fee of $35 per card transaction.

How do I update my Credit Card/Payment details?
To update your credit card details, you will need to login to your account and update your information, including card expiry dates. You many also call us on 0800 697 547 NZ to provide new details. Please allow 5 working days for these changes to take effect. NZSki will not be responsible for failure by the customer to make payment on the due date for any reason. If any instalment payment is not made e.g. due to the credit card payment being declined or reversed, NZSki reserves the right to charge a default administration fee of $35 per card transaction.

Mt Hutt Local Schools: Who is eligible for the secondary school pass?
The Secondary School 3 Peak Pass price is available to pupils of the following schools:
- Mount Hutt College, Methven
- Ashburton College
- Correspondence School
Proof of eligibility will need to be submitted to school@mthutt.co.nz before passes are valid for use"

Correspondence & Home-Schooled Pupils
Children who are enrolled at Correspondence School or are home-schooled must be full time residents in the Wakatipu Basin or the Ashburton District and provide evidence of enrolment in a NZQA approved correspondence school or Ministry of Education approval for home schooling. Purchasers will be contacted to provide this information to confirm eligibility.
STUDENT SEASON PASS
Available to Students 16+.
Evidence of full-time enrolment is required at the time of pass collection by presenting your student ID card and proof of full-time status at an NZ or Australian tertiary institution or New Zealand secondary institution.
Please note, BCITO cards and apprenticeships are not accepted.
FIRST TRACKS ADD ON
A Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt First Tracks season pass can be added on to your 3 Peak Season pass for access to the Coronet Express from 8am - 9am daily from late June / early July through to mid September.
Mt Hutt operates First Tracks from 8-9am on weekends from late June to late in the season subject to conditions.
A Mt Hutt only First Tracks Season Pass can be added on to your Mt Hutt Season Pass.
The operation of First Tracks is subject to the availability and operation of chairlifts and to snow and weather conditions.
Access to trails will be subject to operational requirements, weather and snow conditions, and any scheduled race/events.
Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt do not guarantee the operation of First Tracks on any particular day.
PASS MAIL OUT
If you do not have a MyPass Card for 2025 you can add "Pass Mail Out" for a fee at the time of purchase of your season pass.
Passes will be mailed to you prior to the start on the winter season.
Please contact us at info@nzski.com if your pass does not show up before the start of the season.
Season Passes will not be issued or available for use or collection until full payment of all instalments has been received.
COLLECT MY PASS IN PERSON
Already have a pass? If you have previously had a day pass or season pass with us and still have your card from previous years, you do not need to visit Guest Services to collect your pass. This will be loaded to your current MyPass Card and will give you access to the lifts on your first-day skiing.
If you do not have a MyPass Card, you can visit any of our Guest Services locations to collect your pass. Our Guest Services locations are:
- 25 Shotover St, Queenstown. Inside The Station building. Year round.
- At Mt Hutt & The Remarkables base lodges during the winter season.
- At Coronet Peak base lodge during the winter or summer operating seasons.
Please bring along your confirmation email and a form of photographic ID, such as a Driver’s licence, for verification.
Your profile picture will be taken upon collection of your pass and your pass issued. If you have purchased for multiple people, please bring them along with you so they can all get their photograph taken.
Season Passes will not be issued or available for use or collection until full payment of all instalments has been received.
