Yep, you read that right. Spring Shred Challenge is your chance to win sweet freebies for every 3 days you ski in September and October, up to the 12-day prize pinnacle: a 2 hour Private Lesson worth $430.

Adult guests must opt-in by 4pm on Saturday to receive any rewards they've earned.
How do I Sign Up?
There's just one thing to do if you want to take part in Spring Shred Challenge. Adults (that's you if you were 16 or older on 1 June 2024) need to opt-in to receiving updates and promotional offers. Kids don't need to opt-in.
How do you opt-in? Easy! Head to your MyPass Profile and make sure the blue toggle button next to 'Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us' says YES. If you're making changes, don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.

Ski 3 Days
Free Hot Drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate), regular size. Upsizes and additional items such as syrups will incur a cost to be covered by the guest.
Ski 6 Days
Pie & Coca-Cola (can be a Coca-Cola product from the 440ml carbonated beverage range, including Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, L&P, Keri Tropical & Apple Juices)
Ski 9 Days
9 Days = $25 Mypass Money. This can be used at our retail shop, cafe/restaurants or towards another NZSki product (e.g. put towards a 2025 Season Pass). The MyPass Money voucher is only valid to use up to 31 October 2024 and you must visit Guest Services to allocate your MyPass Money before you can use it.
Ski 12 Days
Boom! You've got yourself a 2 hour Private Lesson. The Private Lesson must be booked through Guest Services in advance by calling 0800 697 547, emailing info@nzski.com or visiting Guest Services on the mountain or in our Queenstown Snow Centre. The lesson must be booked and used in the remainder of the 2024 season or up until 27 June 2025.

FAQs
How does it work?
The Spring Shred Challenge promotion runs from the 1st September 2024 through till the end of season and is valid at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt.
Guests that ski enough days from 1st September until the end of the season can earn rewards.
A “ski day” is counted by scanning a valid 2024 product onto any of the lifts at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt (NZSki).
Guests that are eligible will receive an email to notify them that they have earned a reward, and can now to go redeem their prize.
Rewards are defined as follows and must all be redeemed before the 14th of October unless stated otherwise.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other products.

Who is eligible to participate?
To participate and be eligible for earning these rewards:
- Adults must be opted-in by 4pm Saturday 12th October to receive updates and promotional offers from us. Adults are defined as 16 years or older on 1 June 2024. See below for guidance on opting-in.
- Children aged 15 or younger on 1 June 2024 do not need to opt-in. If a child is not opted-in they may not receive the prize notification email, however the prize should be loaded to their profile shortly after achieving their milestone.
- Guests must be using a valid 2024 Lift Pass, most passes are valid however there are some exclusions.
Guests using the below passes will not be eligible to earn rewards.
- Snow Machine Packages (3 & 5 day)
- Staff and discounted spouse and dependent season passes
- Ski Bus only, Sightseeing/Peak Gondola passes
- IKON passes
- Mountain Collective passes
- Race Early Access passes (outside of their season pass)
- FOC volunteers, ambassadors, athletes and coaches
- Student Rate/FOC adults on school groups
- First Tracks is excluded from Spring Shred Challenge
How Do I Opt-In?
You can “opt-in” to receiving updates and promotional offers from NZSki by visiting our webstore and clicking on the person “icon” in the top right of your screen.
- If you’ve purchased online with us previously, you’ll be able to log in to your profile and make sure the blue toggle button next to 'Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us' says YES. If you're making changes, don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.
- If you have a MyPass Card from skiing but have not created an account on our webstore, you can sign up using the Webcode (the alpha numeric number on the back of your MyPass Card) to set up your account and then select “yes” for the question “Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us?”
By opting-in, we can allocate rewards and notify you when you've achieved them. You can manage your preferences and opt-out at any time. If you stay opted-in, you can choose to be kept in the loop about future offers and sales, and to receive occasional mountain updates.

Guests who earn a 2hr Private Lesson will be able to book and use this for the 2024 season or up until 27 June 2025. Lessons are subject to availability. Any lessons which are not booked within the designated period for the promotion will be cancelled by NZSki.
Guests will be notified via email when their reward has been assigned to their profile and is able to be used.
Prizes may not be available immediately on the day you earn them, but should be loaded to your profile by mid-day.
How do I redeem my reward?
Guests will be notified that they have earned a prize via email on the day they have earned it, so keep an eye on your inbox.
To redeem the 3 Days or 6 Days prize guests must head to our F&B locations (cafe, restaurant) on mountain and tell our team that they have earned and would like to claim their Spring Shred Challenge prize.
Guests will need to tap their MyPass Card on the scanner to verify the prize and from there we can issue the verified prize.
What about the $25 MyPass Money?
To redeem the $25 MyPass Money on-mountain, guests will need to visit our Guest Services team to nominate a PIN before they can use it.
Once you have visited Guest Services to redeem your MyPass Money prize, you can then use this on mountain in F&B and Retail or it could also go towards other products such as a 2025 Season Pass or Summer Mountain Biking products at Coronet Peak.
What about the 2 hour Private Lesson?
The Private Lesson must be booked through Guest Services in advance by calling 0800 697 547, emailing info@nzski.com or visiting Guest Services on the mountain or in our Queenstown Snow Centre. The lesson must be booked and used in the remainder of the 2024 season or up until 27 June 2025.
What Happens If I Opt-In After Skiing in Spring?
Adults that have already skied 1 or more days in Spring (from 1 Sept) prior to opting-in will still have their days count towards prizes.
What happens if I’ve already skied 1 or 2 days when I opt-in, will those days count towards my 3 day prize? Yes they will!
What happens if I’ve already skied 3 days when I opt-in, will I be able to get the 3 day prize? Yes, this will be allocated to you the day after you opt-in.
Adults that opt-in after 4pm 12th October will not be eligible to redeem any prizes.
Children (15 and under) do not need to opt-in to be eligible.
